My Name Is Crystal Akita,
I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
I am from a small coastal town in New Zealand.
I’ve Been so very blessed throughout my life. This blog was originally started to share the greatest thing I have ever been blessed to do, Serve a mission!
I served in the New Zealand Wellington Mission, and the Australia Sydney North Mission.
From 2015- 2016
Honestly I am just here to do as the Lord asks, and to aid Him in anyway that I can to Further His work.
“For behold this is my work and my Glory, to being to pass the Immortality and Eternal Life of Man”~ Moses 1:39
I pray that through my posts we may be able to Acknowledge our God’s hand within our lives. Because He is our father in Heaven and He loves us. He wants what is best for us.
This is a bit of an online Journal, I hope to help others see the life that is possible even having suffered for many years with mental illness. To show that life does move forward and as 1 Corinthians 10:13 says
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
and that as we turn the Lord as it says in Ether 12:27
“And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them.”
The Lord truly can turn our Greatest weaknesses into our greatest strengths, and although life will not be easy there is a beautiful promise in my favorite Scripture
“Be patient in afflictions, for thou shalt have many; but endure them, for, lo, I am with thee, even unto the end of thy days.” ~ Doctrine & Covenants 24:8
This is a fact of life for all of us, But of course we are all here trying to make it back to the same place. Our paths will take us in Individual directions to get there. But the Gospel of Jesus Christ will lead us back home, as long as we hold on.
I am so thankful for my many blessings, I hope we can share this journey together
